Sydney Harbour Islands

Clark Island- named after Lieutnant Ralph Clark
The island is situated off Double Bay, only 20 minutes by boat from the Opera
House.Cold water and toilets are available. There is no power on Clark Island.
The island is approximately 80 per cent vegetated. Shade is provided by trees.
The island also features a walking track around the island at the waters edge, and picnic areas separated by bush. The number of people is restricted to 30 per group with a maximum island capacity of 150 people. The island is also available for exclusive hire.. -
Shark Island- named after its shape
One kilometre off Rose Bay, the 1.5 Hectare island has spectacular views down the harbour to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House.
Picnic tables are dotted across a large grassy area which is surrounded by shady trees. Explore the rocky foreshore, the hand-built grottos and the island’s sandy beaches.

Rodd Island
This half-hectare island in Iron Cove near Birkenhead Point offers summer houses which shelter up to 25 people and contain picnic tables. Palm trees dot the flat grassy area near the shore and there's a colonial style hall that was built in 1889. An attraction of this island is the summer houses that date from the 1920's and the colonial style hall built in 1889. Facilities include drinking water and toilets.
